Darreyl Fields Obituary, Death; – A man is currently incarcerated in relation to a murder that occurred on Sunday morning, according to police reports.
Eighteen-year-old Noah West has been taken into custody and faces murder charges.
As stated in an affidavit, surveillance footage captured him approaching a victim on West Grammercy near Hildebrand on Sunday morning, where he began striking them with a piece of wood that was taped. He subsequently left the scene.
Upon the arrival of law enforcement, they discovered the victim lying on the ground. The individual was declared dead at the scene and has been identified as Darreyl Fields, aged 29.
The report further indicates that West was apprehended when police located him at another murder scene in close proximity on Fredericksburg Road on Monday.
Authorities report that a man was beaten to death at that particular crime scene.
The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) has identified him as a suspect in that murder as well, although he has not yet been charged in connection with the death that occurred on Monday.
His bail has been set at $500,000.
