Darrell Mason,Antonio Magruder Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified the two individuals who were fatally shot in Suitland on Friday evening.
The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) reported that officers were dispatched to a shooting incident in the 4000 block of Silver Hill Road at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Upon arrival at a business, officers discovered Antonio Magruder, 32, from District Heights, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the scene, although the specific business location has not been disclosed by the police. Additionally, officers located Darrell Mason, 56, from Suitland, inside a vehicle with gunshot injuries. He was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities indicated that a third individual was also shot, but his injuries were not deemed life-threatening. As of Monday afternoon, detectives continue to investigate the motive behind the shootings and are working to identify a suspect.
The PGPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment related to this tragic double shooting.
