Daniel Triantafillow,Matthew Lane Obituary, Death; – Authorities have disclosed the identities of two individuals who tragically lost their lives while rafting on the Upper Selway River. The Idaho County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the deceased as 41-year-old Daniel Triantafillow and 35-year-old Matthew Lane, both residents of Colorado.
Their fatalities occurred on Saturday, as reported by the coroner’s office, with the specific causes of death still under investigation. The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office indicated that Triantafillow and Lane were members of a rafting group and perished in a section of the river situated between Double Drop and Wa-poots Rapids. Due to the difficult nature of the location, their remains were not retrieved until Sunday.
