Daniel Perez,Krystal Calvillo Obituary, Death; – Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a driver who took off after a hit-and-run crash that killed two bicyclists in northwest Harris County earlier this month. It happened on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, around 10:50 p.m. along Veterans Memorial and Fallbrook, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said two people, later identified as Daniel Perez and Krystal Calvillo, were riding bicycles along the west side of the roadway when Perez was hit by a passing vehicle. That driver stayed at the scene.
As Calvillo rushed to help Perez, a second vehicle hit both victims and sped away without stopping, deputies said.
Perez and Calvillo died at the scene. Now, their families and law enforcement are pleading for answers. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect.
