Surveillance footage captured a portion of the event. According to the reports, gunshots were heard, followed by four males fleeing from the dispensary, which is situated on Flower Street.

Five shell casings consistent with those fired from an AR-style rifle were recovered from the crime scene. One of the teenagers was recognized from the video and subsequently arrested, with a large bag of marijuana confiscated, as per the reports.

Ruiz has been identified as Young’s girlfriend. Both individuals were apprehended. A ski mask and backpack, believed to have been worn by Young during the robbery, were also seized, according to the reports.

As the investigation continued, a witness was able to identify each of the suspects, as stated in the reports.

Young and Ruiz are scheduled to return to court on August 21. Thompson’s next hearing is set for July 30, while Turner and Brookins have hearings arranged in juvenile court.
