Cory Higgs Obituary, Death;- A motorcyclist lost his life in a single-vehicle accident early on Monday, June 23, in Butler Township, Adams County, as reported by emergency dispatchers.
The incident took place at approximately 4:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Heidlersburg Road, close to Guernsey Road. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
Adams County Coroner Francis Dutrow confirmed the identity of the victim as Cory Higgs, 34, from Biglerville. Higgs succumbed to multiple blunt force injuries at the scene. His death has been classified as accidental.
Heidlersburg Road (Route 234) was shut down between Old Carlisle and Guernsey roads for several hours while the Pennsylvania State Police conducted their investigation of the scene.
No additional injuries were reported.
