Connie Tolbert Obituary, Death; – The individual who perished in a tragic house fire in Ladson was identified on Sunday afternoon. Dorchester County Fire Rescue responded to a blaze at a residence on Robert Drive after neighbors alerted the fire crews to the possibility of someone being trapped inside.
Connie Tolbert, aged 65, was located and brought outside for resuscitation efforts, as reported by Dorchester County Coroner Paul Brouthers. Unfortunately, she did not survive and was declared dead at the scene.
An autopsy for Tolbert is scheduled to take place at the Medical University of South Carolina on Tuesday morning. The investigation is being conducted by the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, the State Law Enforcement Division, and the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office.
