Conner Young Obituary, Death; – A resident of Layton lost his life, and four individuals sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident that led to the closure of northbound I-15 in Millard County last week. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Conner Young.
The incident took place shortly before 8 a.m. on December 9, several miles south of Scipio. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a semitruck towing both a box trailer and a flatbed trailer lost control on the icy road, veered off to the right, and collided with a cable barrier. The semitruck came to a halt sideways, with both trailers obstructing the highway. “Three vehicles collided with the semitruck, resulting in multiple minor injuries and one fatality,” stated the UHP.
