Clifford Motton Obituary, Death;- A man from Beaumont, who lost his life in a shooting incident on New Year’s Day, has been named.
Clifford Motton, aged 54, was shot shortly before 7:30 p.m. on New Year’s Day in the 3900 block of Helena Street, as reported by Beaumont police spokesperson Haley Morrow. Despite being transported to a local hospital, Motton succumbed to his injuries, according to Morrow.
Authorities are requesting that individuals with security cameras in the vicinity of St. Helena and Walton streets review their recordings from 7 to 7:40 p.m. on New Year’s Day for any relevant evidence, including footage of Motton riding his bicycle.
