Chuck Wallace Obituary, Death; – A 19-year-old individual has been charged with the murder of a man in the Collegeville Community of Birmingham. Derrian Dewayne Vinson faces charges in connection with the death of 33-year-old Chuck Wallace, who was fatally shot on September 13 in the 3000 block of 32nd Avenue North.
Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered Wallace unresponsive on the sidewalk, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service transported Wallace to UAB Hospital; however, he succumbed to his injuries en route. Vinson is currently held in the Jefferson County Jail without the possibility of bond.
