Christopher McGrath Obituary, Death;- A man has lost his life following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident that occurred early in the morning in Clermont County, as reported by the Ohio State Highway Patrol in a press release.
According to a press release from the Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a single-vehicle crash in Clermont County has resulted in one fatality.
At around 2:00 a.m. on Saturday in Miami Township, a man operating a 1998 Honda Superhawk 996 motorcycle was traveling southwest on State Route 28 near Business 28 when he failed to navigate a curve, leading to the motorcycle overturning on the roadway.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol indicated that the motorcyclist, identified as 44-year-old Christopher McGrath from Milford, sustained fatal injuries in the incident and was declared dead at the scene.
McGrath was the sole rider on the motorcycle and was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The Miami Township Police and Fire Departments, along with the Milford Police Department, provided assistance at the scene of the crash, according to the OSHP.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
