Christopher King Obituary, Death; – A 31-year-old man experiencing homelessness, who was fatally struck in a hit-and-run incident on the Arroyo Seco Parkway close to Highland Park, was identified on Tuesday.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene at approximately 1:28 a.m. on Saturday, near the Avenue 43 exit, where they discovered the victim lying in one of the traffic lanes, as reported by CHP Officer Sean Lough to City News Service.
“Initial investigations revealed that the incident was a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian and an unidentified vehicle,” stated CHP Officer M. Reyes Lopez. “The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner later identified him as Christopher King.
