Christopher Dwight Sanders Obituary, Death; – No arrests have been made following the discovery of a man who was fatally shot inside a vehicle on Sunday in Fort Worth.
Law enforcement officials arrived at the scene shortly before 3:30 p.m. in the 6900 block of North Beach Street, adjacent to an apartment complex located off Longstraw Drive. Upon arrival, they found a man in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body, as reported by the police.
The victim, identified as 40-year-old Christopher Dwight Sanders, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to records from the Tarrant County medical examiner.
Investigators have established that Sanders and other individuals in the vehicle were involved in a shooting incident in the 5700 block of Mark IV Parkway, where Sanders sustained his injuries. This location is approximately three to four miles from where Sanders was later found.
Authorities have not disclosed the number of individuals involved in the incident or provided any identifying details about them, including their ages. The investigation remains active.
