Charles T Bowen Obituary, Death; – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim in last Tuesday night’s fatal pedestrian crash on Liberty Road as 47-year-old Charles T. Bowen of Lexington. The coroner says Bowen died from multiple blunt force injuries.
The crash happened around 10:45 p.m. on August 5 near Liberty Hill Drive. Lexington Police previously said Bowen was hit by a vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver, 35-year-old Bryce Daniel, was arrested after the collision and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol.
The Lexington Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate.
