Charles Ramirez Obituary, Death; – The Fresno County Coroner has confirmed the identity of a 63-year-old man who tragically lost his life while operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Charles Ramirez, 63, a resident of Fresno. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), he succumbed to injuries sustained after veering off the roadway onto the dirt right shoulder in Fresno County that morning.
At approximately 8:40 a.m. on Sunday, officers were dispatched in response to reports of an injury collision on Sample Road, located west of Pittman Hills Road. Investigators indicate that Ramirez was traveling westbound on Sample Road when he left the roadway and entered the dirt right shoulder. It was here that he collided with a metal road sign, resulting in his ejection onto the dirt shoulder.
Authorities report that Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of the incident. The California Highway Patrol has stated that there is no indication that alcohol played a role in this accident.
