Chad Cicero Waldron Obituary, – A man has succumbed to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident that followed a police pursuit, as reported on September 3, 2024, by the Virginia State Police and the Office of the Medical Examiner.
According to the Virginia State Police, Chad Cicero Waldron, aged 46 from Check, VA, was initially reported to have passed away shortly after the crash on August 24. However, this information was later corrected when the hospital indicated that he remained on life support.
The incident began when a Virginia State Police trooper attempted to stop Waldron, who was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle and was clocked traveling south on I-581 at a speed of 115 miles per hour. The motorcyclist did not comply with the stop signal and exited the interstate onto Orange Avenue, accelerating to 120 mph as he headed toward Melrose Avenue, as per police reports.
Authorities stated that the motorcyclist continued through Salem on Electric Road, where he ultimately lost control of the vehicle and crashed, necessitating his transport to a hospital.
