Carsyn Storm Obituary, Death; – A man from Omaha has been identified as the motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a crash on Saturday, following an alleged attempt to evade a traffic stop. According to the Nebraska State Patrol, at approximately 8:15 p.m., a trooper initiated a traffic stop on I-680 near Pacific Street.
The motorcyclist accelerated, prompting a pursuit. Troopers reported that the motorcycle traveled westbound on I-80 at speeds exceeding 110 miles per hour. The motorcyclist exited I-80 at Giles Road, only to re-enter the highway heading eastbound.
He exited I-80 once more and proceeded westbound on L Street. The Omaha police’s Able-1 unit tracked the motorcycle to 120th Street, where the motorcyclist allegedly ran a red light and collided with a van traveling westbound on L Street.
The motorcyclist has been identified as 20-year-old Carsyn Storm, as confirmed by the Nebraska State Patrol. Both the driver and passenger of the van were transported to the hospital in serious condition.
