Carmilla Taylor Obituary, Death; – A 28-year-old woman was killed in a Montgomery shooting that also injured another woman. Police identified the victim as Carmilla Taylor.
Montgomery police and fire medics were dispatched at 2 a.m. Sunday to a report of a shooting in the 2800 block of East South Boulevard.
Sgt. Tina McGriff on Monday said first responders arrived to find two women with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital where Taylor was pronounced dead. No arrests have been announced. Circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting remain under investigation.
