Camren Dent,Nathan Coleman Obituary, Death; – The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office identified two teenage boys and one man who lost their lives in shootings over the weekend on Tuesday afternoon.
Camren Dent, aged 16, and Nathan Coleman, aged 21, were fatally shot in the Milneburg area on Sunday. Officers from the New Orleans Police Department arrived at the scene following a call received at 7:11 p.m. in the 6100 block of Franklin Avenue, where they discovered multiple individuals with gunshot wounds. Dent was declared dead at the scene, while the exact time of Coleman’s death remains uncertain.
Two other victims who sustained injuries were transported to a hospital, according to police reports. Additionally, Thomas Braden, 16, who was initially misidentified as an adult male by the NOPD, was shot and killed in the 1600 block of Elysian Fields Avenue in the 7th Ward. Officers responded to this incident around 4 a.m., and paramedics pronounced Braden dead at the scene.
