Caleb T Devoe Obituary, Death; – New York State Police reported that a dirt bike accident in the Town of Onondaga, N.Y., resulted in one fatality.
The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Caleb T. Devoe from Auburn. Authorities stated that troopers arrived at the scene of the incident, located on a trail north of 4163 Tanner Rd., at approximately 7:30 p.m. on April 7.
Initial investigations indicated that Devoe was operating a 2011 Yamaha dirt bike when he veered off the trail and fell down a 5-foot embankment. He was discovered by nearby individuals.
The cause of Devoe’s departure from the trail remains unclear. While being transported by TLC Ambulance to Upstate University Hospital, he lost consciousness and suffered cardiac arrest. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The investigation into this incident is still ongoing.
