Brookelin Jackson Arrested; – A young woman was apprehended after an MTA bus driver observed her threatening to shoot another passenger on the bus on Tuesday.
Metro Nashville Police Department officers were alerted by the bus driver at the MTA station, who reported witnessing a woman make threats against another woman aboard the bus. The arrest affidavit indicates that the officers found 18-year-old Brookelin Jackson, who was identified by the driver as the individual involved in the incident.
As per the affidavit, the female victim informed the officers that Jackson had taken her child’s cell phone and that she was trying to retrieve it when Jackson reached into her backpack and threatened to shoot and stab her.
Upon searching Jackson’s bag, the officers discovered a large silver and black knife, as well as the cell phone that she was accused of stealing from the child. Jackson was taken into custody and underwent a medical evaluation prior to being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
