Bridgette Murray Obituary, Death; – A 52-year old woman was killed in a traffic crash involving a motorcycle in Knox County on Sunday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred on state Route 95Â near milepost 6 north of Fredericktown around 12:25 p.m.
OSHP said a 2020 Vespa GTS300 motorcycle was heading southwest when the driver failed to turn at a curve, drove off the right side of the roadway and overturned. The driver of the Vespa was taken to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital with serious injuries.
A passenger on the motorcycle, identified as Bridgette Murray, of Mansfield, was taken to the same hospital where she died from her injuries. OSHP said Murray was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors in the accident, according to OSHP.
The crash remains under investigation.
