Brian Valder Obituary, Death; – The person killed in a plane crash in Steuben County Friday evening has been identified.
New York State troopers responded to Morton Hill Road in Hornellsville around 7:00 p.m. for a report of a plane crash. The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Brian Valder of Penfield.
Troopers say the plane had departed from the Brockport area prior to the crash. Morton Hill Road is back open, and the FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause of the crash.
