Brian A Doss,Schuman Obituary, Death; – On Tuesday morning, authorities reported that five individuals, including three children, were discovered deceased in a residence in Clay Township, Ohio, due to carbon monoxide poisoning.
The deceased were located within a home in the area. Gallia County Sheriff Matt Champlin identified the adult victims as 35-year-old Brian A. Doss and 34-year-old Lora Schuman. The identities of the children have not been disclosed; however, Sheriff Champlin confirmed that all five victims resided in the home.
The Gallia County Coroner concluded that the family succumbed to carbon monoxide exposure within the house. Officials have stated that there is no indication of foul play.
Phillip Doss, a relative, reported that he dialed 911 after discovering the bodies during a visit. “I am just heartbroken; I never imagined this would happen in my life, never,” he expressed. “If I had stayed with them last night, I could have been a victim too.”
Sheriff Champlin noted that while the causes of death have been established, the investigation is ongoing as officials seek additional information regarding the circumstances surrounding this tragedy.
