Brandon Ward Obituary, Death; – The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has announced the identification of the individual who was fatally shot at Rock Creek Cemetery on Saturday afternoon. According to police reports, officers were dispatched to Rock Creek Cemetery at approximately 4:50 p.m. on November 9 in response to a shooting incident.
Upon their arrival, they discovered a man who was unresponsive and not breathing in a section of the cemetery located behind the 5000 block of First Street. Despite the efforts of emergency responders to administer lifesaving assistance, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. On Sunday, authorities confirmed his identity as 22-year-old Brandon Ward, a resident of Northwest D.C.
