Brandon Rahming Obituary, Death; – A man has been pronounced dead following a shooting incident near a church in Boynton Beach on Friday afternoon, with law enforcement indicating that they have identified a person of interest.
According to the Boynton Beach Police Department (BBPD), a call regarding the shooting was received at approximately 1:44 p.m. The incident took place at the New Disciples Worship Center, located at 239 N.E. 12th Avenue and N.E. 2 Street.
Upon arrival, police discovered a man on the ground, and unfortunately, personnel from Boynton Beach Fire Rescue declared him deceased at the scene.
“It’s a distressing sight to look out your window and see a body lying there,” remarked a neighbor to CBS12 News. The victim, identified by family members as Brandon Rahming, was in his 40s. BBPD spokesperson Dani Moschella reported that the shooting followed an altercation between two men.
“Detectives have identified a person of interest. They are interviewing witnesses, residents in the area, and anyone who may have observed the incident. They are piecing together the details to understand the circumstances that led to this man’s death,” Moschella stated.
