Bobbie Jo Hart Obituary, Death; – Ohio state troopers report that a woman from Waynesburg lost her life on Monday in an accident on U.S. 250.
As per the highway patrol, drugs are believed to be a contributing factor in the incident that resulted in the death of Bobbie Jo Hart, aged 50. The accident occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. on U.S. 250 in Union Township.
According to troopers, Hart was driving a Cadillac Deville when she veered left of center and collided head-on with a Toyota Tacoma. Following the collision, the Toyota veered off the road and struck a guardrail before rolling over, as reported by the highway patrol.
Troopers indicated that first responders declared Hart deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, a 67-year-old man from Cadiz, was transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The highway patrol confirmed that both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
