Bionca Ellis Arrested; – The woman charged with the murder of a 3-year-old boy in what appears to be a random stabbing incident outside a local grocery store is scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning for a pretrial conference.
The trial for Bionca Ellis has been rescheduled to October 1, having initially been set for July 14. This postponement occurred as both prosecutors and defense attorneys are in the process of developing their cases and exchanging information and evidence.
Ellis is alleged to have fatally stabbed Julian Wood in both the face and the back, as well as injuring his mother, outside a Giant Eagle store in North Olmsted on June 3, 2024. According to police, Ellis was apprehended at the scene while in possession of a knife.
Ellis is facing a total of 10 charges, which include aggravated murder, attempted murder, felonious assault, and tampering with evidence.
