Ben Naylor Arrested; – Four homicides in southern Idaho are deemed interconnected following an investigation that commenced on Tuesday, July 8, involving multiple agencies.

The sheriff’s offices of Minidoka and Cassia Counties, along with the Heyburn Police Department and the Rupert Police Department, collaborated on a joint investigation concerning the four homicides across the two adjacent counties, as stated in a news release.

Authorities apprehended a suspect, identified as 56-year-old Ben Naylor from Burley, in relation to the homicides. Law enforcement believes that Naylor acted independently.

On Wednesday, police reported that officers responded to a 911 call and found a homicide victim within a residence in Rupert on Tuesday afternoon. Subsequently, two additional victims were discovered hours later in Cassia County, and a fourth victim was located inside a vehicle in Minidoka County.

Following this, police tracked down Naylor and took him into custody, with the support of the Idaho State Police and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

In Wednesday’s news release linking the events together, the Cassia County Sheriff’s Office said it is mindful of future judicial proceedings and asks for people’s patience in the matter.  This is an ongoing investigation. More information may become available later.
