Barry Stone,Helen Evans Obituary, Death; – The Clermont County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the names of the two individuals who lost their lives in a house explosion that occurred on Tuesday in Bethel. The victims have been identified as 77-year-old Barry Stone and 52-year-old Helen Evans, as reported by Enquirer media partner Fox19.

Firefighters responded to the scene on Vic Joy Drive shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday, discovering the residence severely damaged and engulfed in flames, according to Bethel Tate Fire Chief Christopher Cooper. Debris was scattered across the neighborhood.

Both Stone and Evans were found deceased, while another man was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the explosion. No updates regarding his condition have been made available. Records from the Clermont County Auditor indicate that Stone was the owner of the property where the explosion took place.

Chief Cooper stated on Tuesday that all possibilities are being considered. Although he did not specify the cause of the explosion, he mentioned that the house was equipped with propane. The Enquirer has submitted requests for reports and other documents pertinent to the investigation. Most of these documents will remain undisclosed until officials have completed their examination of the explosion.
