Aviv Broek Obituary, Death; – A man was shot to death early Friday morning in South Memphis, police said. Memphis Police (MPD) said officers responded just after 1:15 a.m. Friday to a shooting on Hernando Road just south of Norris Road and found a man had died.
The shooting was identified Sunday as 21-year-old Aviv Broek. Police have not made any arrests in connection to the shooting but issued the following statement Sunday:
“This is an active investigation and there is no indication at this time of a hate crime; however, MPD is pursuing all leads.” Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH.
