Ashanti Macon Obituary, Death; – A woman was fatally shot at a Little Caesars in Macon on Tuesday evening, as reported by the Bibb County Coroner’s Office.
A 911 call made at 7:48 p.m. indicated that an individual had been shot at the Little Caesars located at 1477 Pio Nono Ave., close to the intersection with Montpelier Avenue, according to Coroner Leon Jones and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrived at the location and discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound, as stated in a news release from the sheriff’s office.
Paramedics transported the victim, a 30-year-old woman, to a medical facility where she was pronounced dead at 8:18 p.m. due to injuries sustained in the shooting, according to deputies. The coroner’s office has identified her as Ashanti Macon. Jones confirmed that Macon’s family has been informed of her passing.
