Antonio Sykes Jr Obituary, Death; – A man was discovered shot and killed within a vehicle located in a parking lot in Cordova, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. He has been identified as 18-year-old Antonio Sykes, Jr. from Cordova, as confirmed by SCSO.
At approximately 5:40 PM on Friday, SCSO reported that deputies on patrol encountered a man suffering from a gunshot wound inside a car in a parking lot situated near the intersection of Berryhill Road and Chimneyrock Boulevard in Cordova. The sheriff’s office stated that the man was declared dead at the scene by paramedics from the Shelby County Fire Department.
SCSO indicated that there are currently no suspects; anyone possessing information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
