Antonio Bravo Arrested; – A man from Clearwater is currently in custody, facing charges of DUI following a collision that resulted in the death of an 8-month-old infant.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 32-year-old Antonio Bravo was traveling south on US-19 in his Chevy Silverado when he failed to stop as traffic began to slow just north of Flora Ave.
Bravo’s vehicle struck the rear of an Audi sedan, which was being driven by a 27-year-old man from Gibsonton, with the baby seated in the back.
Troopers report that the infant was secured in a car seat and was transported to a nearby hospital after the incident, where he was pronounced deceased.
