Anthony Sanchez Obituary, Death; – The Kern County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the bicyclist who lost his life after being hit by a truck as 68-year-old Anthony Sanchez from Bakersfield.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Friday, February 28, 2025, at approximately 6:51 p.m., when a black Chevrolet pickup truck collided with a bicyclist in the 2400 block of Edison Highway, situated east of Mount Vernon Avenue. The coroner’s office reported that Sanchez succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
