Anthony Luis Rangel Obituary, Death; – A man was fatally shot and two individuals sustained injuries during a shooting incident at a house party in Fort Worth’s Northside early on Sunday, June 15, according to police reports.
Officers were dispatched to the shooting that occurred in the 3700 block of N. Houston Street at approximately 12:30 a.m., as stated in a news release from the police. Upon their arrival, officers discovered two of the victims of the shooting. Both were transported to hospitals for treatment.
One of the victims succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, while the other is anticipated to recover, according to police. The third victim was conveyed to a hospital in a private vehicle and is also expected to survive, police confirmed. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the deceased man as 19-year-old Anthony Luis Rangel. Investigators have established that a party was taking place at the residence when two women began to argue over one of the shooting victims, as reported by police.
According to police, unidentified suspects arrived at the location, and one engaged in a physical altercation with one of the victims. The suspect brandished a handgun and discharged multiple rounds, hitting the victims.
The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle, police reported. Homicide detectives are currently conducting an investigation into the shooting, and no arrests have yet been made.
