Angela Jones,Jerodd Jones Obituary, Death; – The two individuals who lost their lives in a shooting that occurred on June 6 in Northfield Center Township have been identified by the Summit County Medical Examiner’s office as Angela Jones, aged 48, and Jerodd Jones, also aged 48.
According to Gary Guenther, the chief investigator of the medical examiner’s office, the incident is being treated as a homicide-suicide.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with police from Macedonia and Boston Heights, responded to the shooting on Meadow Brooke Way at approximately 11 a.m., where they discovered Angela and Jerodd suffering from gunshot injuries.
Angela was declared dead at the scene, while Jerodd was transported to Summa Health with a self-inflicted injury, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
A “juvenile female” present in the residence was unharmed and has been released to Summit County Children Services, as stated in a press release from the sheriff’s office.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing by the sheriff’s office.
