Amoria Brown,Omoria Brown MISSING; – Authorities in Los Angeles are actively seeking a teenage mother and her infant daughter who have been unaccounted for since Sunday.

In a press release disseminated on Monday, August 26, relatives and the Los Angeles Police Department appealed to the public for assistance in finding 14-year-old Amoria Brown and her 3-week-old daughter, Omoria Brown, who suffers from a heart condition necessitating daily medication.

The pair was last observed around 10 p.m. on August 25 in the East Los Angeles vicinity, accompanied by Amoria’s 15-year-old sister-in-law, Sanaii Brown. They were thought to be traveling to the “high desert area to meet family,” as stated in the release.

Following the issuance of the release, Sanaii has since reunited with her family, according to reports from NBC News.

The announcement also featured images of the mother and her newborn, along with a description of Amoria, who is 5 feet 4 inches tall, has black hair and brown eyes, and weighs approximately 140 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was reportedly wearing a multi-colored shirt, gray shorts, and gray sandals.

“It’s overwhelming right now; I’m trying to process everything,” stated Amoria’s guardian, Raquel Brown, as reported by NBC News. “I just want the baby to be safe. She is not a bad mother. I won’t label her as such. She is young, and I cannot expect her to change overnight, so I want to clarify that I am here to support her.”

Raquel mentioned that Amoria had contacted her family to assure them that she and the baby were safe, but their exact location remains unknown.

Individuals with any information are encouraged to contact 911, Detective J. Rider at (213) 479-2827, or L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
