Amanda Davis Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified a 37-year-old woman who lost her life following a collision late Tuesday morning in central Lubbock.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 11:12 a.m. Tuesday in response to a 911 call reporting the incident in the 3800 block of 58th Street, as stated by the Lubbock Police Department. Upon their arrival, officers found the driver of the vehicle, Amanda Davis, aged 37, suffering from severe injuries.
She was transported by ambulance to Covenant Medical Center, where she was subsequently declared deceased. Preliminary investigations suggest that the passenger vehicle was heading east when it collided with the rear of a legally parked car.
At this moment, there is no evidence to suggest that alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident, according to law enforcement. The passenger in Davis’ vehicle sustained minor injuries. Other potential factors contributing to the crash remain unclear as the investigation continues.
