Alvin Rivers Obituary, Death;- The Richmond County Coroner’s Office is conducting an investigation following a fatal shooting that occurred on Gordon Highway this past Tuesday.
As reported by the coroner’s office, the victim has been identified as 32-year-old Alvin Rivers from Thomson, Georgia. He was shot at least once in the parking lot of the gas station located at 2061 Gordon Highway on February 18, shortly before 2 a.m.
Rivers was taken to a nearby hospital for medical care and was pronounced deceased at 1:40 p.m. on February 21. An autopsy has been arranged.
