Allysandra Blea Arrested; – A woman was arrested Tuesday after a man was fatally shot during a photo shoot in Las Vegas, police said.
The shooting occurred just after 4:45 a.m. on Aug. 23 in the 1000 block of Nassau Drive in central Las Vegas. When officers arrived, they found a man on the sidewalk who had been shot. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department homicide section took over the investigation. They determined that the victim was taking photos during a photo shoot with a woman identified as Allysandra Blea, 20. Blea was holding a firearm for the photos. Police said the gun discharged, striking the victim.
Blea was arrested three days after the shooting on Aug. 26 and faces a charge of open murder with a deadly weapon. She is due in court Sept. 2 for an initial appearance.
