Alexander Whitcomb Obituary, Death: – Omaha police are conducting an investigation into a shooting that took place early Sunday morning outside Los Diablos, situated at 25th and Ames, which resulted in one death. The Omaha Police Department (OPD) reported that officers in the area heard a gunshot at approximately 4:15 a.m. and promptly responded to the scene.
Upon their arrival, officers encountered several individuals engaged in gunfire and observed a large crowd fleeing the area. Due to the significant number of shots fired, officers requested additional support to help control the situation.
First responders found a victim at the scene, later identified as 37-year-old Alexander Whitcomb, who had suffered a gunshot wound. Whitcomb was swiftly transported to Nebraska Medical Center but, regrettably, did not survive his injuries.
According to sources who spoke with KETV, there was no altercation or dispute inside the club prior to the shooting, which complicates the ongoing investigation. Authorities are diligently working to collect further information regarding the incident.
