Alberto Castillo Obituary, Death; – Around 11:20 p.m. Thursday, first responders received reports of a crash involving a skateboarder in the 23500 block of Lyons Avenue in Newhall, according to officials. The skateboarder was pronounced dead on arrival, Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station confirmed.
The person killed was identified as Alberto Castillo, 16, from Newhall, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. No other details into the crash were made available.
