Aiden Zeallor Obituary, Death; – The family of a 21-year-old man who was shot and killed while driving on the highway last weekend is appealing to the public for any information regarding the incident.

The victim, identified by both family and law enforcement as Aiden Zeallor, was shot while traveling in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Port Richmond at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29. Aiden’s Ford Mustang and an abandoned Acura were discovered with multiple bullet holes. Authorities suspect that a third vehicle was involved but left the scene prior to their arrival.

A public information officer from the Pennsylvania State Police stated that Zeallor was an innocent bystander who was struck by stray gunfire. His death is currently being treated as a homicide investigation.

“All we know is our son was driving, and now he’s gone. That’s all we know,” his mother, Denise Donahue, shared with NBC 10. “I keep waiting for him to come through the door and say, ‘Hi, mama.’ He always called me mama. I’m just waiting for him to return home, but he will never come back.”

Denise mentioned that her son was on his way home with a friend when the shooting occurred. His friend received treatment for injuries sustained in the crash and is expected to recover, according to Denise.

“This is beyond explanation. The pain is indescribable, but for me, it’s not about strength. It’s about honoring my son,” she expressed. “He was special and unique. He was meant to be here, not taken away. To share his story, I must remain strong. He wouldn’t want it any other way.”

Aiden’s father, Tom, noted that since the shooting and crash on Saturday, the family has been coping with the situation moment by moment. “Not even day by day. One minute we’re crying, and the next we’re laughing as we share stories about Aiden and how he made us smile. Then we’re back to crying, and then laughing again. It’s just a roller coaster,” he explained. “The Mustang featured in the news was a project we built together. I purchased that car when he was 14 years old. We just found a picture of him; he would always ask me to take him to the garage just so he could…”
