Yerson Ysaac Sanchez Rivera Arrested; – A 24-year-old man is facing multiple charges following an incident in which he allegedly fled the scene of a crash that resulted in the deaths of three individuals within the East Ridge tunnels on Saturday morning.
The collision occurred on the westbound side of the tunnels. According to East Ridge Police, the driver, identified as Yerson Ysaac Sanchez Rivera, abandoned the scene of the accident. However, law enforcement apprehended him shortly thereafter.
Public records indicate that Sanchez Rivera is charged with several offenses, including:
– Vehicular homicide (three counts)
– Failure to render aid (three counts)
– Driving under the influence (DUI)
– Reckless driving
– Driving without a valid license
– Failure to maintain lane
Authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of the victims involved in the crash.
