Nolan McDavid Obituary, Death; – Newschain is actively seeking additional information regarding the circumstances surrounding a fatal head-on collision that occurred over the weekend. The mother of the deceased teenager has come forward to share her thoughts. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has identified the victim as 19-year-old Nolan McDavid.
As reported by ALEA, McDavid was involved in a head-on collision with a 17-year-old on Saturday morning along Alabama 217, near mile marker 13, just a few miles north of Semmes. Randi Jones, McDavid’s mother, expressed that this tragedy has profoundly affected their family.
Jones noted that McDavid graduated from James Madison High School at the age of 16. Following that, he earned an associate degree from Coastal Alabama Community College and subsequently attended the University of South Alabama.
His mother described McDavid as a playful and affectionate brother, whose absence will be deeply felt by his siblings. According to ALEA, the other driver sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Newschain continues to investigate the factors that contributed to the crash.
