Monroe S Wressler Jr Obituary, Death; – A pedestrian, aged 65, lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in Walker County. The Alabama State Troopers have identified the deceased as Monroe S. Wressler Jr., a resident of Cordova. The incident occurred at 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday along Alabama 5, approximately three miles north of Dora. According to Trooper Cpl. Reginal King, Wressler was hit by a Toyota Prius operated by 41-year-old Justin M. Dodd from Tuscaloosa. Wressler was declared dead at the scene.
