Giselle Glover Obituary, Death; – A mother from Florida is facing legal charges after authorities allege that she caused the death of her 14-year-old daughter by submerging her head in a bathtub.
On Wednesday, deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at the family residence in Poinciana. Upon arrival, they encountered 35-year-old Kelsey Glover, who was reportedly brandishing a hammer and attempting to strike witnesses who were trying to intervene.
Sheriff Mark Lopez stated, “When the officers arrived, they were actually engaged in a struggle to disarm her, as she was trying to attack a woman who was attempting to prevent her from harming her daughter. It was a critical situation, and we can only speculate on how it might have escalated had we not intervened promptly.” Deputies discovered Glover’s daughter, Giselle Glover, unresponsive in the bathtub. Despite being transported to the hospital, she did not survive.
According to witnesses, Glover was seen holding her daughter’s head underwater, and their attempts to stop her were unsuccessful. Glover has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery. Sheriff Lopez indicated that additional charges may be forthcoming once the precise cause of Giselle’s death is established.
“What occurred is beyond comprehension, and we are committed to seeking justice for Giselle,” Lopez remarked. The sheriff characterized Glover as uncooperative and noted that a motive for her actions has not yet been determined. It is also reported that she has no prior criminal record.
