Laken Riley Obituary, Death; – The prosecution concluded its case on Tuesday in the bench trial concerning the individual charged with the murder of 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley in February.
Jose Ibarra, a 26-year-old undocumented immigrant from Venezuela, faces charges related to Riley’s death, whose body was discovered on the University of Georgia campus. It is alleged that Ibarra assaulted and killed Riley while she was jogging on February 22. The defense may conclude its case on Wednesday.
