Jessica Yax Obituary, Death; – The Bay City Department of Public Safety has confirmed the identity of the woman who tragically lost her life in a parking lot incident in Bay City on Thursday, November 14. The incident occurred at 4:41 p.m. in the parking area of the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission, as reported by the public safety department.
As per the department’s statement, 31-year-old Jessica Yax was traversing the parking lot of the rescue mission, where she was residing, when she slipped and fell. Subsequently, she was struck by a vehicle and was declared dead at the scene.
The driver involved, a 58-year-old resident of Saginaw, did not sustain any injuries, and the public safety department indicated that they are fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
Upon completion of the investigation, the case will be forwarded to the Bay County Prosecutor’s Office to assess whether any charges will be pursued, according to the public safety department.
